1836 Mint Set

Number of Required Items

5
Current Finest Possible Set Rating

68.611
The 1836 Mint set is a small one, consisting of only five coins - denominated as our current circulating coins; 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 cent pieces. All the silver coins were of the Capped Bust Style which had been introduced late in the first decade of the century. All were struck in Philadelphia. None of the 1836 coins are particularly rare, so this set can be completed relatively easily even on a modest budget.

Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
