The 1803 Mint Set marks the swan song for the Silver Dollar. After 10 years of production, it would not reappear again until the late 1830s, and circulation strikes would not be issued until 1840. Aside from the Quarter (which was on hiatus) the set is quite complete with a Half Cent, a Cent, Half Dime, Dime, Half Dollar and of course a Dollar. Most of the 1803 coins are common dates for the type. Some, like the Dime however, are condition rarities with Mint State pieces almost unknown.

Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
