Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction The Regency Auction 32 May-2019 FROM THE CORONET COLLECTION II. Bag fresh! This remarkable SUPERB GEM has a killer look and everything about it screams high end quality! The surfaces are essentially perfect with nary a trace of contact to be found anywhere, even using a strong glass. A stunning, satiny sheen yields to a brilliant cartwheel when rotated in a light. Morgan's ever popular design elements are razor sharp on both sides and the devices are nicely frosted, especially Liberty's cheek. A tiny tick or two may be revealed with a powerful glass, but none detract from the SUPERB eye appeal this amazing 81-CC possesses! PCGS 265, NGC 146, CAC 64. There are only 20 graded MS67+ at PCGS. The most recent PCGS/CAC MS67+ sold for $26,400 in the 2019 FUN auction, and before that one one sold for $20,400 in December 2018. PCGS lists a value of $21,500 in their current Price Guide. Only five are graded finer, including the MS68 Coronet coin which we sold in June 2015 for $67,564. This is a real prize for anyone building a world class Morgan set and will see stiff bidding competition for the honor of putting in their collection. Good luck! Cert. Number 36035013 PCGS # 7126
