Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction The Regency Auction 32 May-2019 Ex Vanderbilt and Horseshoe Collections as noted on the PCGS insert. Exceptional quality for an 84-O. Bold, satiny lustrous surfaces are brilliant with a thick mint frost on both sides. For a date that often comes poorly struck, the present coin shows only the slightest touch of central weakness. Virtually untoned, there is just a touch of pale gold at the upper rim of the reverse. The surfaces are clean and free of any distracting marks; there is just a single reeding mark on the rim that keeps this SUPERB GEM from an even higher grade. PCGS 167, NGC 128, CAC 73. PCGS has graded just seven in MS67+ and a single MS68 finer. The only PCGS/CAC coin to sell in auction brought $6,375 in our August 2017 Premier Session. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,800. UNIQUE finer, the MS68 has never sold in auction, so this is the BEST you can reasonably hope to add to your high ranking Registry Set. Good luck! Cert. Number 36302597 PCGS # 7154
