Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction The Regency Auction 32 May-2019 FROM THE CORONET COLLECTION II. You know from proven history, when the Coronet Collector buys anything that is a Dollar, it has to be at the very top of quality. We did send this in to PCGS hoping for a +. They were just mean that day! We can only see ONE tiny tick by the face that could be keeping this coin back from a 67+ or even MS68. Overall, the surfaces are flawless and have a wonderful satiny texture. Even using a strong glass will not disappoint you. A full luster beams boldly from all over. Both sides enjoy fresh white virgin color. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have dreamy thick white frost. Her cheek is as good as it gets too. The eye appeal is amazing! PCGS 96, 121, CAC 33. This is the coin that brought $17,500 at Sotheby's in May 2018. From what we have seen of all MS67 1885-CC's, we rank this in the top 5%. We doubt you will ever see many as great as this coin! Expect strong bidding here. Opportunity knocks loud! Cert. Number 7455499 PCGS # 7160
