Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction November Premier Session 2017 Nov-2017 This beautiful superb 1891 dime is one of the finest known survivors from the generous mintage of 15,310,000; in fact, only a single MS67+ has been graded finer at PCGS. Vibrant, brilliant silver centers beam with a strong luster that yield to seductive azure and amber toning at the rims. A bold impression from the dies has rendered the details fully. Struck from clashed dies, we note some teeny marks that blend in with the mint made clash marks. PCGS 10, NGC 22. This coin last sold in April 2013 for $3,525. The most recent sale of any PCGS MS67 was in our December 2015 Regency Auction where an example sold for $2,115. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,850 and this coin should see strong bidding by those who really appreciate the wonderful color! Cert. Number 25038055 PCGS # 4706
