Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction The Regency Auction 27 Jul-2018 If you buy only the VERY BEST, then this coin is a "no brainer" must buy! We absolutely grade this coin a PR67.9+! No question this coin was securely saved since it left the Mint 104 years ago. Full GEM Matte surfaces are perfect. You can use a neutron microscope and there is nothing to be found of any size or anywhere. A strong shine does flow off the surfaces. Both sides are an original deeper coppery color mixed with shades of purple and faint red. We think it is the deeper toning on the reverse that is all that is keeping this GEM from a PR68 designation. Lincoln and the rims look like they were chiseled by a surgeon’s knife. The eye appeal is perfect! PCGS 6, NGC 5, CAC 4. This is the LONE PR67+ RB graded, there are no PR68's. The current Collector’s Universe value is $16,500. A PR67 RB NO +, sold for $13,513 in July 2017. If you are building the VERY BEST Matte Proof Lincoln set, then this coin is for you! Cert. Number 85750922 PCGS # 3319
