This vividly toned example features iridescent champagne-apricot, salmon pink, powder blue and antique gold shades that provide outstanding visual appeal. Full frosty luster shines forth and the design elements are sharply rendered. With a mintage of 32,484,000 coins, the 1935 is among the more readily obtainable early date Washington quarters in grades up to and including MS-66. Superb Gems in MS-67 are scarce, however, while in MS-67+ the Pogue specimen is a decided condition rarity.
