Legend Rare Coin Auctions Auction The Regency Auction 39 Jul-2020 FROM THE INCLINE COLLECTION Tied for FINEST 62-D nickel in the Full Step definition! While the Denver mint churned out over 280 million nickels, they did not focus on production quality. This example is surprisingly flashy, with an almost semi-Prooflike reflection. Beautiful rainbow peripheral toning again arcs over Monticello's dome and a blush of iridescent toning adds to the outstanding visual allure of this GEM. Just a touch of chatter is noted, fine for the assigned grade. NONE are finer! PCGS 8, NGC 0. None have sold in major auction but the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $12,500. With this being the FINEST example to be offered in auction, it is worthy of the FINEST set, bidding will be intense when it crosses the auction block. Cert. Number 25019448 PCGS # 84072
