David Hall: This low mintage "rarity" has lived in the shadow of the 1909-S VDB for nearly 100 years. It is a valuable semi-key date that's highly desireable in all grades. Strike is usually not a problem with this issue. Full "red" gems usually are more of a light reown red color.
