Jaime Hernandez:

In high uncirculated condition the 1974-D is the second most common date from the Denver Mint for all circulation strike Eisenhower Dollars. Only the 1971-D is more common in high grades.

MS60-MS63: In MS60 to MS63 grades they can still be easily located raw or in rolls.

MS64: In MS64 it becomes a bit tougher to find but yet still easily obtainable with most examples still being raw as they are not worth submitting in this grade.

MS65: In MS65 they become challenging to locate and many of them have already been submitted in hopes of obtaining an MS66 grade or higher since in MS66 grade they bring a premium.

MS66: In MS66 grade they are tough to find with possibly no more than 1,000 examples exist in this condition.

MS67: This is the highest grade possible and very few coins exist in this condition. Possibly less than two dozen examples exist in this condition with none being finer.
