The 1996-S Uncirculated Soccer Commemorative Half Dollar was issued to celebrate the Olympic Games. The Mint made numerous Commemoratives during the Olympic Games.

Obverse: Obverse depicts two women playing soccer, it has the inscriptions, "Liberty USA Atlanta 1996 XXVI Olympiad and In God We Trust.

Reverse: The reverse design has an olympic flame with the words "Half Dollar, United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, Atlanta, and the year 1996. This is also the same reverse design that was used in the Swimming Half Dollar.
