The 1999 $100 Uncirculated Platinum Eagle appears to be scarce overall, as a very small percentage of its mintage has been certified. Throughout the years few examples in any graded condition have appeared on the market. Expect to pay a premium over spot platinum prices to try and acquire this coin and several other low mintage years from the 1990's, as few coins are available. Examples in very nice MS69 condition should be set aside as examples with few spots or blemishes are even harder to find.
