The 2010-P Mount Hood National Forrest Quarter is the fifth and last design issued in the year 2010 for the America the Beautiful Quarters Program.
Obverse: The obverse features the same George Washington motif which was used on all Washington Quarters from 1999 to Date.
Reverse: The reverse displays the “Lost Lake” with Mount Hood visible in the background. The reverse has the inscriptions, MOUNT HOOD OREGON, 2010 and E PLURIBUS UNUM.
Release Date: The 2010-P circulation strike Mount Hood National Forrest Quarters will be officially released by the U.S. Mint on November 15, 2010.
National Site: Mount Hood is located in Oregon and has over 1 million acres of mountains, lakes and streams. Mount Hood became a National Site on September 28, 1893.
Public Law: The 2010-P Mount Hood Quarters were produced under Public Law 110-456.
