The 2011-D Gettysburg National Military Park 5 oz Uncirculated Quarter is the first 2011 dated coin to be issued from the U.S. Mint for the National Quarters Program. It is also the sixth different designed issued in the America the Beautiful Coin Program.

Obverse: The obverse dpicts the same George Washington motiff used on all Washington Quarters from 1999 to Date.

Reverse: The reverse of thre coin features the 72nd Pennsylvania Infantry Monument at thre battle line of the Union Army.

Release Date: The circulation strike quarters were oficcially released on January 24, 2011.
