The 1951 Dime is common in everyday, run-of-the-mill Proof condition (translating to PR66), but anything better, and any Proofs with cameo contrast become more hard to find and, hence, valuable. The majority of the almost 1,700 Proofs certifed thus far by PCGS have little or no camo contrast at all. Only about 20 percent qualify as Cameos, and less than one-half of one percent are Deep Cameos.
