Jaime Hernandez:

The Sommer Islands coins are believed to have been struck in England sometime around 1615 - 1616. Today the Sommer Islands are known as Bermuda. Most Sommer Islands coins that exist, show some corrosion due to the climate in the area. Few coins exist that were struck in the Sommer Island making most examples very rare and valuable.
