PCGS has updated some of our processes and customer account features based on customer feedback. Although we cannot make all of the changes suggested, we definitely value your feedback and would like to hear from you if you have ideas! When logged into your PCGS online account, additional information is now available for your PCGS submissions that are currently in-house with PCGS.
You are now able to see the breakdown of coins, line-by-line for each individual order. Fields for certification numbers, PCGS coin numbers, coin descriptions and country now show when reviewing a specific order in your account. Until the order is finalized, the grade and coin number are not shown.
Once the order is finalized, any "Genuine, Not Gradable" coins in the order will show their Details grade, if applicable. This is another feature addition based on feedback, see below:
Our revamped Cert Verification page is simpler, more appealing to the eye and gives additonal information that was not previously outlined online. Since the release of the updated version we have adjusted the funcitonality of the page based on additional feedback from our customers. Your cursor will now automatically be placed in the cert entry field, and after clicking “verify” your cursor will be automatically placed back in the entry field so that you can easily continue to verify certs. An example of our new cert verification page is shown below.

Our IT, Marketing and other departments have been working non-stop on updating PCGS.com. We are doing our best to make navigation easier, more appealing to the eye and overall better for you as customers. Navigating PCGS.com will be easier than ever! As with all changes, some you will love and others you may not notice right away. Please continue to send your feedback to us so we can make your PCGS.com experience the best that it can be.
PCGS asked for your feedback and you gave it! We offered one of our first online surveys to our customers via the PCGS forums. We want to make PCGS.com available to everyone, everywhere on as many platforms as possible. Customer feedback from our recent "Mobile Survey" will help our team to adjust our online presence to meet your mobile needs. All of your feedback was extremely valuable and will assist us in making sure to provide you with the best mobile environment that we can. Keep an eye out in upcoming eCollectors and the PCGS Forums for future surveys!
We will be having our second Public Friday of 2015 on August 28th. Our last event was very well received, we wanted to follow-up with additional events throughout this year. We will possibly host additional Public Friday events before the end of 2015, and will definitely host additional events in 2016. This next Public Friday will be at the Holiday Inn in Santa Ana, CA. PCGS will be accepting all submission levels for processing at our office. Every Public Friday event presents you with an opportunity to save on shipping your coins to PCGS, as you are able to physically hand them off to one of our dedicated Customer Service representatives.
For this Public Friday, we have an exclusive offer: any Regular Service Level or higher submission received at our August 28th, 2015 Public Friday event will be completed and transported to the September Long Beach Expo to be handed back to the customer. This way you save on shipping to and from PCGS.
We know that a large number of our customers attend the Long Beach Expo, often buying and selling coins to each other and doing business with dealers from around the world. We would like to help our customers as much as possible and feel that offering this special will help you have an even better Long Beach Expo! Orders must be received no later than 5:00PM on August 28th, 2015 at our Public Friday event, we will do our very best to ensure all qualifying orders are completed and delivered to you at the Long Beach Expo.
On July 1st PCGS announced that going forward, all Secure service submissions would receive TrueView for FREE. The Secure service now comes with the same high quality images you have become used to with our TrueView service. These images will be available on Cert Verification, will be emailed to you and will also be available to be put into your Set Registry Photo Albums! Our Members Only Shows have almost always been brought to you at a location on the bustling Vegas strip. For 2016 we will continue to have Members Only Shows in Las Vegas but will also bring this exclusive event to other locations. New Orleans is one of our recent additions to our 2016 Members Only Show Schedule, keep an eye out for future updates.
