Washington Quarters Complete Variety Set, Circulation Strikes (1965-1998)

Number of Required Items

80
Current Finest Possible Set Rating

65.601

As is true with the Roosevelt dime, the Washington quarter lost its silver content in 1965. It is called "clad coinage" today, but in 1965 it was called "sandwich money" and/or "funny money." The reverse was changed for the bicentennial, then switched back to the basic design through 1998.

Notes: This set is a work in progress. As new varieties are graded, they may be added to the set.
