About Me:
I am a retired 20 year Army veteran. I have been collecting coins off and on since 1982. I got hooked on the hobby when I found a 1943 steel penny in a community laundry room on Governors Island (US Coast Guard base) in 1982. I was intrigued by the design and the fact that it was a penny that looked like no other penny I had ever seen.
