Owner's Comments

1857 1C Small Date MS65 Red and Brown NGC. N-2, High R.1. The reverse is mostly red, while the obverse retains the initial fiery luster around the stars and along the border of the portrait. This is a nearly unabraded Gem, well struck save for the centers of stars 2 to 8. EAC 63
