1898-S 10C AU55 Certification #19598710, PCGS #4817

Owner's Comments

A light toning of subtle pink and blue just begins to indicate how nice this coin is. The reverse has a strong strike and an abundance of mint luster. Much of the San Francisco coinage from 1898 though 1900 was shipped to the Phillipines and the coins that came back have some rather unusual color as a result of the humid environment. Total PCGS AU population is 18 with 5 in AU 55 and 3 in AU 58. The BCCS rating is R5.
