In 1993 the U.S. Mint struck two different Proof Washington Quarters. One was struck in clad and the other in mostly silver content. Both coins appear to be very common and command a nominal price. However, the 1993-S Proof Silver Washington Quarter commands a higher premium due to its silver content. Most examples can easily be found in PR67 condition or higher.
