The 2001 Vermont coin design is the 14th design issued in the 50 State Quarters Program. The obverse of the coin features a bust of George Washington. The reverse depicts two large maple trees and sap buckets hanging from them. There is also a man holding a bucket, while the Camel's Hump Mountain is seen in the background. The reverse also has the inscriptions "Freedom And Unity."
Overall, the 2001-S Proof Vermont Quarter was well struck. Most examples range from PR68-PR70 Deep Cameo condition.
