2011-S $1 Native American First Strike, DCAM PR69DCAM Certification #19231511, PCGS #505209

The obverse of the Native American Dollar is the same design used on 2000 - 2008 Sacagawea Dollars. In 2009, the obverse design remained the same. However, the reverse design was an introduction to a new series honoring significant moments in the history of Native Americans in this country.
The reverse of the 2011 coins features the hands of the Supreme Sachem Ousamequin Massaoit and Governor John Carver. The hands are offering the ceremonial peace pipe to honor the first formal alliance between the Wampanoag and European settlers.
