1944 25C MS67+ Certification #25612929, PCGS #5824

The 1944 is the highest mintage pre-1962 Washington quarter. It is not the most common issue in Gem MS65 or better...that "honor" falls to the very low mintage 1946-S, 1947-S, and 1958, the three issues that because of their very low mintages were hoarded extensively by the roll...but the 1943 is relatively easy to find in Gem condition. Many are fully lustrous, well struck Gems.
