The 1959-D, like all the later Denver Mint Washington quarter issues, was saved by the roll in large quantities.Even so, this issue is somewhat tougher to find in Gem condition than the ealier S-Mints. The Denver issues seem to suffer a lot more from marks and abraisions. A mark-free Gem, while not rare, is definitely a coin worth saving.
