Michael F. Hayes - Set Two
I feel this is one of the most graceful designs this country
has ever produced.
Over the last couple of years I assembled this collection and
am missing just the 1918/7-S Overdate and the 1927-S; finding either could take years. I have never once located a 1927-S that was well struck, or in my means. Even a five figure price doesn't bring these coins out for public sale.
My previous collection had a MS 64 which was by my standards, just marginal. However, it was the best available at that time and remained so for many years.
