See MS Indian set for more thoughts!
I listed this because I am done improving it. The new PCGS scoring system that gives extra points to coins that are top pops makes it impossible for lower sets, even if great, to compete. So a lower set can have higher average coins but a lower score. I have three sets where this applies.
I cannot see the logic of giving more points to a set when none of the coins were improved.
In my opinion this set of the 4th set of all time.
The ESM top set is active so I cannot tell its score before the extra pop points. However it has 25 top pop coins in it that received bonus points.
The retired Bender set received .66 extra points and the Palm Beach set 29 extra.
This set was very difficult to complete as CAC is extremely tough on copper and many of the higher grades are pop 0. For the love of competition I challenge ESM to only use top of the grading scale CAC coins.
I love Proof Indians and have enjoyed building this set.
