About This Set:
Special thanks to John T. Dean for his reference book, which is a must for anyone collecting these. Several medals have mintages below 200, and fewer still remain. The medals were sold and distributed only at the various special commemorative events scattered all around the Country, so they are very difficult to find. Several excluded medals are museum or award specimens and not currently collectable.
The PCGS digital album feature is a great way to see the relative sizes and different finishes of these National Commemorative Medals. To see them full size, then use the gallery feature, the blue camera icon. Thanks for viewing, and enjoy the diverse history represented in this US Mint Medal set.

Thank you for your kind words. It is a challenge to find good examples for sure.
Was a super set before with just the Dean items but NOW with the very limitted HK items your set is over the TOP. Before her retirement, I had suggested with the PCGS Registtry Director consider making the Dean list a SUPER Callenge.
