About This Set:
I started collecting back in 1976 with a bag of junk Morgan and Peace dollars. About 600 raw lowballs came from eBay. PCGS graded almost 500 of them. A few coins from the first ever lowball "HOF" collection were purchased. PCGS graded most of the lowball Morgan dollars from eBay and were added along the way. At last a large group of retired lowball dollars was purchased. Over time a few more were added as well. I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has sent me a coin or two or pointed out where to find one. It's been a real adventure learning all about what it takes to start and build up a set like this. It's more challenging than it looks, but a whole lot of fun in the looking.

Building this set appears to be nearly impossible. It would probably be so if more people took an interest in collecting lowballs.
Nice job building up this set. Me and my pups are impressed that a third set is now perfect. Congratulations on a fine job~
That's tough to get this close to a perfect PO01 set. I truly admire what it takes to build a set such as this. With so many pop 1 and pop 2 PO01's out there, this set may never be defeated from it's 2nd ATF rank. Nice job Alan!
