Purchased because this is my B/D. Also purchased to remember and also commemorate this day in 2001. The brave, the innocent & to remember the shock, horror and sadness America felt this year on this day.
Another must have medal considering I’ve become a fan of PCGS graded coins. Only 350 total mintage with only 102 graded perfect by PCGS. Love this medal!
Originally I was gifted this 1 Nis/2 Nis as a two coin set in 2008 Boxed from the Israeli Mint for earning my 1st Degree under “Bruce Lee’s” KENPO style. Found in my Medals? *Note* In my original set (See Serial #) the 1 Nis was graded PCGS PL MS70 although it looks very much like the 2 Nis Proof? {{Shrugs}} I hunted the number #1…Israeli “2 Nis” in hopes it would show up on the market one day. In 2014 or thereabouts it was on EBay. Sadly I missed the purchase. This coin ended up in Ukraine and came up for sale…I was shocked but moved quickly to purchase. I now own the only set by - PCGS in MS70 DCAM. Found this a great story to share. Hope you enjoyed!
