This massive collection is the combination of two of the Registry’s most popular sets: the basic Washington Quarter 90% Silver set from 1932 to 1964 and the so-called "Clad" set from 1965 to Date. The dynamics of the two sets are quite different. The size of the early set is finite and fewer coins have survived in high grade. Conversely, the size of the later set continues to expand (as new issues are added) and it is easier to find high quality examples. Put them together and you have an exciting and fun challenge that begins anew each year that this enduring design remains in place.
