The Basic Set of Oak Tree Silver coins includes one each of the following denominations: Twopence, Threepence, Sixpence, and Shilling. The designs of the Oak Tree coins improved over that of the earlier Willow Tree coins and the planchet sizes and weights became more consistent. This is the first "do-able" set of Massachusetts Silver coins, as there are no expensive rarities to prevent completion of the set. Nevertheless, high grade examples are hard to find, so the challenge is finding four coins in nice condition.
