The Circulation Strike set of Gold and Platinum Eagles is comprised of nearly 200 coins and includes a few scarcer pieces such as the gold 1999-W $5 and $10 coins and the gold quarter ounce coins of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Bear in mind as well that while most of these trade for relatively low premiums over melt in grades of MS67, 68 and even 69, values in MS70 are another matter entirely. Three dedicated Set Registry participants so far have managed to achieve a Set Rating over MS69.
