Franklin Half Dollars Date Set, Circulation Strikes (1948-1963)

While the Date Set of Franklin Halves avoids some of the more difficult date/mm combinations such as the 1949-D or 1950-D, achieving a set rating over MS-67 has proven elusive. Truly gem Franklins are difficult to find, and while completing this set is not particularly challenging, getting to the top of the Registry is. Among the top twenty sets currently on the Registry, mere hundredths of a point often separate the entries.
