1877 Proof Set

Number of Required Items

8
Current Finest Possible Set Rating

69.333
The minor base metal coins make the 1877 set a very tough set. The cent is a key date, and worth considerably more than a typical Proof cent from the period. The three and five cent nickels are both Proof-only issues, and likewise carry significant premiums. The silver (though the mintage of 510 pieces is a bit lower than usual) is of average value for the period.

Notes: This set has bonuses. Please see the Set Composition for a listing.
