This “short set” of Twentieth century half eagles is easily completed. Only very high grade examples of 1900-S, 1904-S, 1905-S, and 1906-S are difficult to locate and only the 1904-S is tough in the lower uncirculated grades. The set, however, makes a great looking collection. Even collectors on a modest budget can assemble this grouping. Gold always draws attention and this date and mintmark set is no exception.
