German 3 Reichsmark Commemoratives Basic Set, Proof (1925-1932)

This collection includes 19 different design types, commemorating everything from birthdays to anniversaries of towns, universities, and constitutions, and even the 1000th year of the German kingdom. Famous figures include the author Wolfgang von Goethe, the artist Albrecht Durer, and the philosopher Gotthold Lessing. The 1930 coins commemorated the round-the-world flight of the cigar-shaped Graf Zeppelin airship. This collection is fairly easy to complete, although a few (such as the Dinkelsbuhl) are relatively expensive, and all of the Matte Proofs are rare.
