This interesting set contains iron coins made for use in some of the Baltic States, Poland, and Northwest Russia in 1916. The obverse features German legends, but the reverse features a stylized version of an Iron Cross containing the denomination in Kopeks, the currency of the occupied lands. Although none of the coins are rare, they are quite difficult to locate without some trace of rust. Bright, fully lustrous examples are as scarce as hen's teeth.
