Mexican 8 Reales Guanajuato Mint Basic Set, Circulation Strikes (1824-1897)

The Guanajuato Mint is located in the Mexican city and state of the same name. Most of the coins issued by the Guanajuato Mint are relatively common, making this a popular set with collectors in spite of the large number of coins required for completion. The only real "stopper" is the 1863-GoYE, a rare coin that appears to have been made with a die leftover from 1862 with the YE assayer's mark.
