This set represents a distillation of all the German States 2 Marks into a type set of all major designs. Most of the coins are affordable and readily obtainable. Included are a wide variety of rulers and special commemorative coins that celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, marriages, and deaths. All of the coins share a common reverse: in the early years, the eagle is small, then around 1891-1892 the eagle becomes a little larger. This is a great set for beginning collectors.
