What a great set! Of course, that can be said about any set of U.S. coins (and often is), but this set includes the first half dollar (1794), the ultra-rare 1796, the equally ultra-rare 1797, the key 1815/2 and ends with the first New Orleans half dollar minted for circulation. Before you get started, you also need to know that the 1795 is tough, the 1801 is rare, the 1802 is equally rare…and so forth. Even with all of these rarities this is one of the most popular of all early sets of U.S. coins.
