Spanning nearly 80 years, the Basic Set of Jeffersons includes all dates and mints from 1938 to date. While no major rarities are in this set, the mintmarked issues of 1939 are the keys to this set. The full-step requirement ups the financial ante somewhat, with the D and S issues of the late 1930s crossing into four figures in top grade. This remains a very popular and completable set however, and will be a worthy accomplishment when complete.
