Liberty Head $10 Gold Mintmark Set, Circulation Strikes (1838-1907)

Because no $10 Gold coins were ever struck at the Charlotte or Dahlonega mints, there are only five coins in this Mintmark Set. The Philadelphia, San Francisco, Denver and New Orleans coins are all reasonably common, and should present no difficulty. The Carson City coin is somewhat scarcer, and a high grade Mint State example will prove nearly impossible. MS-62 or 63 is about as good as a "CC" coins will get. This remains though a very completable set and certainly worthy of the attempt.
