A set of San Francisco Gold Dollars is neither a large nor particularly difficult set. Consisting of only eight coins, only the 1856-S Type II presents a slight challenge in lower mint state grades. Moving to the middle MS grades escalates the price quickly, but don't look for anything above MS-64. To date, only one collector has tried this set, so if you're looking for a Blue Ribbon award... look no further.
