Walking Liberty half dollars will always be a favorite series with collectors. The series is GORGEOUS! The coins are often collected as three different sets (1916 to 1929, 1933 to 1940, and 1941 to 1947). The coins are challenging because of strike problems (especially for the late San Francisco issues) and low survival rates (such as the 1919-D and 1921-S). Because of tradition, the 1917-D and 1917-S varieties are included in this set.
