1801 1C F12BN PCGS #1458

1801 S.222 Draped Bust Large cent, PCGS F12. The generally smooth surfaces show just a few, very light marks, none of which is distracting. The color is very pleasing and the level of detail is very strong. The tiny rim cud seen above IB is cool too..."buy the cud!"

1921-D $1 VAM 1N Unicorn AU53 PCGS #134055

Reverse -Small die break spike at top of D in UNITED with die crack continuing to upper right to denticles. The VAM-1N2 exhibits a striking die break that emerges from the top of the D in UNITED. Looking much like a unicorn horn, this break is clearly visible to the naked eye for easy cherry picking. If you are looking for a nice example of a showy 1921-D die break, this coin is a good choice. Since the first edition publication of "Fun With 1921" this has proven a popular variety, trading at many multiples above common price. picked up by PCGS as one of the few VAMs not in the Top 100 or Hot 50 recognized by PCGS
