The Moon Landing Proofs

About This Set: The "Eisenhower Dollars Basic Set, Proof (1971–1978)" is a complete collection of every proof Eisenhower Dollar produced by the U.S. Mint during the series' entire eight-year run. These coins were issued for collectors only; no proofs were released into general circulation. This set includes one brilliant proof coin for each year of production. The "Ike Dollar" proofs were all produced at the San Francisco Mint and feature the "S" mint mark. They are characterized by their deep, mirror-like finish, which distinguishes them from standard circulation strikes.
