Jason's_Ancestors...'s Coin Album
Quite a unique coin Obverse: Looks like it was struck through quite a few fibers, coming out of the hairline above the ear, in the hair below OF, between TY in LIBERTY, next to the mouth, really, all over. Then there are the file lines, again all over. There is an extreme case of Longacre doubling in most of the letters and the entire head. Beautiful white coin. Reverse: There are 2 raised areas between the ends of the laurel wreath. Weakness in the middle of the first and bottom of the 2nd roman numerals. Numerous die file lines throughout.

This coin is a placeholder. I will eventually get a better grade but I got this for a good price. Obverse: A nice circulation cameo effect. A dark spot between stars 8 and 9. A contact mark across the E in LIBERTY. Reverse: A contact mark under the left wing. A few dark spots scattered about. Better detail on this side.

B-4 R2 Obverse: This coin is much whiter than the pictures show. Die break from hair through star 12 to rim. A scratch under the gin and 1 between the 2 and 1 but are not distracting. Reverse: Nice detail for the grade, no marks to note. Again, much whiter than the pictures show.

O-108a R1 What can I say, the pictures speak for themselves. This is my most beautiful coin... Obverse: Beautiful cartwheel luster on a 200 year old coin. A nice die break circumnavigating the periphery. Small scattered marks on the neck and chin. Reverse: Multiple die lines around the Eagle; at the elbow of the left facing wing, at the 2nd and 3rd inside feathers of the tip of the right facing wing, at the tail feathers pointing up to the left facing wing, multiple lines in the field under the right facing wing

Obverse: Not as drastic circulation cameo effect as some of my other coins but still a favorite type of coin. Marks appropriate for the grade. Reverse: Marks on the A in DOLLAR and The A in AMERICA. Nice lower grade example.

BB-105, B23, H23, R3 (Pointed 9, wide date, 4 lines, arc stars) I love this look, it is circulation cameo, the devices are a nice bright silver and the fields are a dark grey contrast even going so far as to almost create a shadowing effect on the bust, neck and below the ear and eye. This is one of my favorite coins. Obverse: A couple of marks on the chin, hair and in the fields, appropriate for the grade. Reverse: The circulation cameo continues, no distracting marks.
